In 1659 Denmark's first known female philosopher, Birgitte Thott, finished her original neo-stoic manuscript book on happiness. It is an exceptional comprehensive work that discuss what happiness is and how it is possible to prepare the path for the true happiness of the eternal life already in the world by practicing how to acquire a calmness of mind amidst temporal hardship and worry. Thott died shortly after finishing her manuscript and it is now being prepared for publication to a worldwide audience.
