The first annual report from the LUMEN center at Aarhus University reveals a year marked by a high level of activity and some very fine results.
The scholars at the center have largely taken part in the broad dissemination of research in connection to the reformation anniversary.
Nevertheless, the center can show some fine results in research, both in terms of publication and in terms of funding.
Among the latter are
1) a grant from Riksbankens Jubileumsfond to a Swedish-Danish research cooperation on the Nordic household state, which builds upon the Danish research project on Lutheranism and societal development in Denmark – already part of the LUMEN portfolio, and
2) a grant from Aarhus University’s strategic pool to the intra-faculty network EPCOT (Eucharistic, Political and Cultural Organizational Transformation before, during and after the Reformation) led by post.doc. Jette Bendixen Rønkilde.
